Bio-based PLA
The vase body is made from a plastic based on renewable raw materials.
100% renewable electricity
Our production uses solar electricity generated on site and renewable electricity purchased from the grid.
BIO-BASED PLA
Light to hold.
Distinctive to look at.
The body of our vases is made from polylactide, or PLA. This plastic is produced using renewable raw materials. The vase body is neither ceramic nor glass. The vases are deliberately designed as lightweight objects.
Additive manufacturing through 3D printing makes the distinctive surface possible. Its lines and recesses shape the way the light falls and can also be felt by touch. The low weight makes it easy to move the vase when rearranging your décor.
“Bio-based” describes the origin of the raw materials. It does not automatically mean that a finished product belongs in an organic waste bin or on a garden compost heap.

ICONIC HOME designs are developed and made in-house. We also handle packaging, dispatch and customer service. This means we look after our vases ourselves, from the initial idea to your order.
We produce in small batches according to demand. ICONIC HOME is backed by Designscape Creative GmbH in Germany.
ELECTRICITY FOR OUR PRODUCTION
Solar electricity from our own roof.
Supplemented by renewable electricity.
We use 100% renewable electricity to make our vases. Some comes from the photovoltaic system on our premises. Storage allows us to use the electricity we generate at a later time, too.
When solar generation and storage do not cover our needs, we purchase additional renewable electricity.
FOR FLOWERS AND EVERYDAY LIVING
The vase gives it form.
The insert holds the water.
Our flower vases come with a removable, watertight insert. For fresh flowers, pour water only into this insert. The printed vase body itself is not watertight.
With dried flowers, a few branches or nothing at all, the vase can take on a different look each time. Our diffuser vases have a separate glass insert for room fragrance. The relevant product page shows which inserts are included with your model.
Lost the insert? Keep the vase.
You can also obtain the matching insert separately through our customer service team. Please give us your order number or the model and size of your vase.
Carefully packed. Ready to use again.
Paper instead of plastic cushioning
We use recycled paper rather than plastic cushioning to protect your vase in transit. It arrives in a sturdy shipping box.
A bag to keep
The included bag can be reused – for example, to store your vase when you change your décor.

Nicolas Woll founded ICONIC HOME and designed the five vase models. Behind the brand is Designscape, a company that brings together design, in-house production and customer service.
