Form, colour and flowers: ICONIC HOME in BLOOM’S DECO

White orchids, rich violet and three vases arranged together: BLOOM’S DECO explores the different ways our designs can be styled with flowers and branches.

In its May/June issue, BLOOM’S DECO features floral arrangements with our 3D-printed vases in a photo story titled “Formschön & Modern”. Flowers and branches are paired with Sphere, Shape and Twist.

Sometimes a single bloom takes centre stage; sometimes it is the contrast between an understated vase and bold colours. These three arrangements offer ideas to try in your own home.

White blooms, soft textures

A cymbidium orchid and cotton branches meet the rounded form of Sphere. The pale flowers stand out against the darker branches, while the soft cotton bolls contrast with the vase’s ribbed surface.

Rather than relying on a wide palette, this arrangement plays with texture. The branches draw the eye upwards, while the rounded vase provides a calm base.

An idea for your homeKeep the colour palette simple and combine different textures instead. Flowers, branches and cotton each bring something of their own without competing for attention.

Violet as a deliberate contrast

Vanda orchids set the tone in this arrangement. Their vivid violet stands out against the vases in stormy gray and natural oak. Shape and Twist bring two different silhouettes to the composition.

BLOOM’S DECO adds smooth stones to the scene on the dark tables. They provide a quiet contrast to the flowers and textured vases. An arrangement with honesty on a smaller side table picks up the lighter tones.

An idea for your homeLet one bold flower colour lead the way. Vases in understated colours and a few simple elements alongside them give it room to stand out.

Three vases, three floral accents

The opening image brings together three Sphere vases in natural oak, cozy greige and mystic mud. Their shared shape unifies the group, while the different plants give each vase a distinct role in the composition.

The arrangement uses dried ornamental allium and honesty, a king protea in the centre and a coffee bush on the right. The warm, muted vase colours allow these differences to show while keeping the group cohesive.

An idea for your homeRepeat the vase shape and vary the flowers. The result is a coordinated arrangement that still has plenty of variety.
