An idea became reality. This is only possible through vision and passion. The vision of head designer Nicolas Woll - founder of ICONIC HOME - was to rethink the classic vase. The result is a high-quality collection of 3D vases with unusual shapes and structures.

While still studying architecture, Nicolas Woll founded the company Designscape in 2002, of which he is currently the managing director. For many years, the company, with its 25 employees, focused on modern wall design. In 2014, a contemporary production building tailored to the company’s needs was constructed according to a design and concept by Nicolas Woll.
The expansion of Designscape’s product range to include the ICONIC HOME vases was the logical consequence of Nicolas’ love of design, which has continued to drive him for many years. From this, a high-quality brand emerged that stands for creative and sustainable interior design.

We tried out a lot and have now found the right way.
From the digital design to finding high-quality material and suitable 3D printers, many steps were thought through at ICONIC HOME. This was the only way to turn the ICONIC HOME vases into a high-quality and reliable brand. In the end, we are certain that we have taken the right path. The use of compostable bioplastic was particularly important to us.
We manufacture our vases in a modern, energy-efficient company building in the heart of Saarland.
We also pay attention to sustainability when it comes to the production, packaging and shipping of our vases. We use green electricity, do not use plastic when packing the vases and send the parcels with DHL Go Green.

The vases from ICONIC HOME are 3D printed from the bio-based material PLA - obtained from renewable raw materials such as corn and sugar cane. This so-called bio-plastic is particularly resource-friendly, but sensitive to high temperatures. That's why our objects are designed for shady indoor areas.
We use 100% green electricity for production - a large proportion of which comes from our own PV system. Surplus energy is stored and used around the clock. We only purchase additional certified green electricity when necessary. The combination of a modern printing process, renewable energy and sustainable materials makes every vase a conscious design object.
