ICONIC HOME combines refined interiors with digital design. Our vases are created using 3D printing, a process that makes their distinctive sculptural forms possible.

Unlike traditional vases, they are not made from ceramic or glass, but are printed layer by layer using a sustainable material.

Our vases are made from PLA, a material based on renewable raw materials. It creates a refined matte finish while making the vases pleasantly lightweight and less prone to breakage.

Frequently asked questions about 3D-printed vases

What is a 3D-printed vase?

A 3D-printed vase is defined by its material and distinctive form, made possible by this manufacturing process.

During 3D printing, PLA is heated and deposited through a fine nozzle, layer by layer. In this way, the vase gradually takes shape from the bottom up.

Printing a single vase can take more than 10 hours.

What are the advantages of 3D printing?

3D printing makes it possible to create complex contours, curves and structures that would be considerably more difficult – or in some cases nearly impossible – to achieve using conventional manufacturing methods.

The material used for ICONIC HOME vases is made from renewable raw materials such as sugar cane and corn.

Are 3D-printed vases watertight?

Due to the manufacturing process, the design vases themselves are not watertight.

However, every vase comes with a watertight insert, allowing it to be used with fresh flowers.

PLA is sensitive to high temperatures. The vases should therefore not be placed directly next to strong heat sources or behind windows exposed to intense sunlight.

How are ICONIC HOME vases different from glass or ceramic vases?

ICONIC HOME vases are not made from glass or ceramic. Compared with traditional vases, they are relatively lightweight and more resistant to breakage.

Their surface has a refined, matte texture.
