The extraordinary vases from ICONIC HOME are interior highlights: they can be perfectly combined with each other, but also stand on their own.

The ICONIC HOMEvases can be used with fresh cut flowers or dried flowers and can be redecorated again and again.

The production: vases made using 3D printing

The vases are produced using 3D printing. Using the FDM process (Filament Deposit Modeling), the desired shapes are assembled layer by layer in a fascinating process. The end result is a finished and timeless design that makes the large and small vases so special.

ICONIC HOMEVases are not mass-produced goods that can be found on the shelf in furniture stores. They are produced in small quantities, making them exclusive and unusual decorations.

The material: because sustainability is important

The material used, polylactide (PLA for short), is also known colloquially as polylactic acid. It is considered a bio-plastic because it is made up of lactic acid molecules that are produced from the fermentation of corn starch or sugar cane. Although PLA is produced synthetically, it is biodegradable and therefore a good alternative to non-degradable plastic.

In short, this means that although the vases are reminiscent of high-quality plastic in terms of consistency and weight, they are an environmentally friendly alternative - with an elegant look.

The possibilities: High-quality look with flowers

The high-quality look of the vases is a perfect match, especially in combination with natural materials such as dried flowers, grasses, branches and twigs.

Of course, the 3D vases can also be used with fresh cut flowers. The vases themselves are not completely waterproof. Therefore, the water for the cut flowers should not be filled in directly. A specially integrated insert for the vases (included in the delivery) can also be used to fill them with water so that cut flowers can quench their thirst.

Please note: The vases are not dishwasher-safe and should not be exposed to temperatures above 40°C. The waterproof insert, on the other hand, can be cleaned in the dishwasher up to 65°C without any problems.

The ideas: Which dried flowers are suitable for vases

Dried flowers are stylish, easy to care for and particularly suitable for 3D printed vases.

Dried flowers can be arranged in different ways depending on the shape of the vase. Our shallower vases "Sphere" or "Pure" are suitable for more lavish arrangements, while the taller vases can also be used effectively for individual flowers or grasses.

The selection of suitable dried flowers and grasses is diverse. Suitable plants include eucalyptus, phalaris, pampas grass, lunaria semi, ruscus, cotton, lagurus (also known as hare's tail grass or velvet grass), immortelle, poppy, glixia, lavender, roses, gypsophila, sunflowers, statice, yarrow, craspedia, flax, thistles, bulrushes, palm leaves, rose hips, olive branches, twigs and branches (with and without berries).

The focus can either be on one type of plant or the desired effect can be achieved by mixing different flowers and grasses.

The design: Minimalist design for long durability

There are shapes that never go out of fashion. We have dedicated ourselves to these designs for our vases and developed them further on the basis of the classic cylinder shape and the harmonious spherical shape. The vases from ICONIC HOME are intended to move away from interchangeable, disposable design towards durable and timeless interior design.

From the classic, straightforward "Straight" vase to unusually shaped vases such as the "Shape" and "Twist" models, the minimalist look offers modern design that is independent of fast-moving trends.

The special feature: Difference to ceramic vases or glass vases

In contrast to glass vases or ceramic vases, 3D printed vases are lightweight and largely unbreakable. Production is also more energy-efficient. While very high temperatures of over 1000°C are required when firing ceramics or melting glass, the temperature for 3D printing is 200°C in a precisely small area.

Optically, the vases also differ from classic vases made of glass or ceramic. The modern manufacturing process makes it possible to create shapes and structures that never existed before.
